Both suck, but at least American Idol judges pretend they like and value talent. X-Factor judges even don’t try to hide they need a money making person. $5 million is the only thing they have in their minds. Simon is completely exposed now. Huge mistake with Melanie Amaro and horrible choice of Astro instead of Frances. He is just stupid. We did not know it then, but we know now.
American idol judges are warm, spontaneous, and with sense of humour.
They have chemistry among them.
XFactor judges keep a distance from contestants by the show of their mansions. It underlines the huge gap between their situation of wealth
and power and the contestants that most of them are poor. Nicole is oversensitive, L.A. is reserved, Paula is warm and natural,Simon seems uneasy with other judges except Paula.
Though X Factor has the mentoring program, American Idol's judges generally have a more indifferent view on the contestants. Because of this, they tend to be less biased.
