Tide smells more masculine whereas gain is more gender neutral.
Gain products smell less like chemical. I also like that you can get fireworks, softener, and dryer sheets in the same scent, which is impossible with tide. I don’t like the hodge podge of scents you get with the using tide if you need softener or dryer sheets.
Smells closer to floral scents found in nature. Tide has nice scents, but I feel it is more at an industrial strength against my nose
Gain probably but I like tide as well
I was using tide but switched to gain for scent and it uses less harsh ingredients
because
I love the smell of clothes after washing with Gain.
just smells that r nice on clothes...instead of the same old soap smell
Gain me gusta mas

It just does in my opinion
it smells BETTER
It has the lift and lock beads so throughout the day while your wearing your clothes ,rubbing the fabric washed in gain together by moving in the clothes gives an extra scent boost. Sometimes i rub my sleeves together just so i can catch a whif lol
Gain has more variety of scents that are strong and I like it.
it just does
Good
I love of the smell gain. Tide irritates my skin.
nah
I used to use Gain exclusively, but switched to Tide for some strange reason. I miss the lovely fresh scent of Gain, so I'm now switching back to it.
Better smell
I selected this option because I love the smell of Gain although I only use the fabric softener and use Tide for the wash. I thought they were manufactured by the same company and Gain is generally a lot less expensive than Tide. I will try Gain as soon as I am done with there use container of Tide packets I just bought.
The smell of Gain isn't as overpowering as the smell of Tide.
Gain smells more natural.
smells way better and better scents
Tide has the smell of a regular laundry detergent while gain smells nice
Tide smells like regular landury detergent while gain smell really nice
because it smells better, duh.
I'm doing a project and Gain seems to clean better and I want to know how Gain might be better than Tide.
it just does
I prefer that my clothes come out clean and smelling
Fresh, and it works great for irritatal skin
cuz it smell good
I don't have to pay for fabric softner.
Both smell nice, but Gain has a more prominent scent, though I still love Tide Original Scent.
.
Gain always smells fresh and clean! Tide smells like soap which isn't a bad thing just a more chemical aroma.
I love gain!!!
I choose gain because I use gain and in my opinion it smells better
its true
Tide irritates my hubby's skin and I don't care for its scent. My hubby likes island fresh gain but I like apple mango tango scent however I can't get the liquid fabric softener or the dryer sheets in the apple scent so I have to use the island scented product to get matching scents..
Good on stain better than tide
Gain has such a pleasant smell compared to Tide. Both clean well.I used.to buy Tide but dont find the scents too great.

Smell
Unless it's Tide fabreeze gain does smell better but for some reason Tide cleans better.
fresh
My husband and I have been using strictly Tide the entire almost 16 years we've been together. It's also what my parents used (and still use) and it's also what my grandparents always used; however, while we were at Target the other day, we smelled some of the Gain detergents and they smell SO much better than Tide! We ended up buying the Apple Mango Tango detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets and we love them! Our clothes and linens smell amazing now! Don't get me wrong, Tide does an excellent job and I'm not saying that we'll never use Tide again, but we just love how much better the Gain smells and we find it to do equally as good of a job as Tide does at getting our clothes, sheets, and towels clean.
because pants
It just smells better than tide and any other brand out there.
you said so.
well it clean booty stains
Tide does not smell good at all
I love it but I'll try tide.
It just smell better.

Smells best
Um...because I think it's a more pleasant scent that stays stronger for longer?
It seems better.
Fruit options.
I've been trying the Gain Flings and the Tide Pods for the first time ever and Tide Pods don't even come close in having fresh smelling clothes as Gain does.
Gain wins by a landslide. I even recently found out that my local vet's office uses the Gain Flings and you know how much laundry they do.
it just smells better and is what I prefer to buy
Gaon smells like springtime
Smells good but tide cleans better

The smell is stronger and last longer!
Awesome smell. 2 weeks later.
I love the fruity smell of gain
I have three teenagers participating in sports and school activities. The only detergent that gets the “work” smell out is Gain. I have tried Tide many years, but its Gain we now stick to. The kids do get people coming up to them and smelling them like the commercials.
Fresh natural smell!
Gain gets stains and harsh smells out of any laundry i put in the washer. Clothes come out smelling Fresh and Spotless, and sheets, blankets pillows etc, they smell so good and clean. I use Gain fireworks with my Gain Detergent and gain dryer sheets. That is like a triple threat :).
love Gain products have been using them for decades
crisp
It's just all around better!
The scent is wonderful and last for a very long time!!!
idk
because the way it smell and it has more power to get to stains out
Better scent.
I selected this option because I a die hard Gain customer. It's the one detergent that the scent lasts the longest and really cleans my clothes.

Because its smells fresh clean and tide leaves white spots
It's good
I have used Gain for years and so far so good. :-)
The smell !!!
I use Tide predominantly. I love the smell of Tide but Gain is a bit better scented. I use Tide because nothing cleans like it.
After 3 days in my room with me being a smoker .my laundry still smells as if it came out the dryer
duh, it's smells better...that was the question.
Gain, the reason I choose gain is because I did the two week smell test and gain did live up to the two week promise of a fresh smell it actually lasted longer than two weeks. I can honesty say the clothes in the dresser drawer smelt fresh after three weeks.
i selected this option because i felt like it
cuz it does
It just really does smell better. It has an almost fruity smell that is very pleasant.
I have been used gain for the last three year and not complain at all.
I used to buy Tide before just like two times a years if was on sale, always very expensive.

Clothes smell fresh and clean for days. Its fruity and floral scents are great fragrances.
clothes gave a fresher smell that lasts!
Great smell!! The scent last for weeks, especially in bed linens and towels. Also, is great at getting out tough stains. I prefer the laundry powder. Cleans better than liquid.
I jsut like its smells
gain smells better because it can have certain scents like apple mango (the detergent I use).Tide can't do that because it is more concentrated.
i lilke the mango scent
because it smells better

research
It just smells better. Like a new fresh lovely scent.
Because it's true.

I love Gain detergent. I've used the liquid as well as the powder and they both get my clothes very clean and leaves a long lasting fresh scent. Gain rules!
because you asked
it just do. the scent just stay in the clothes after ou wash them!
because it leaves a better scent
I like all of the Gain scents. A couple of them even last after coming out of the dryer. The only scent that does this in the Tide brand is Mountain Spring. I feel that gain is gentler on sensitive skin and produces stain free clothing.
it lasts longer than tide unless u also use a fab softener
Gain has a fresh, clean scent stronger than Tide perfect for working in the healthcare industry where one wants to smell clean without being overpowering.
because i use it and iit works great!!!
It smells delicious and leaves a nice fresh scent on your clothes :) and it has more scents like apple mango tango, island fresh, lavender and SOO many more..
