Ellen is an actress and stand-up comedienne who is popularly known as the lesbian partner of actress Portia de Rossi. Interestingly, she came out as a lesbian on national television, specifically, on Oprah Winfrey's talk show. She has done several movies and also appeared in a sitcom entitled Ellen prior to becoming a talk show host.
The Face: Oprah
Oprah, on the other hand, is best known as a host, actress and philanthropist. Her show has been one of the major successes in her life. She is considered to be extremely influential, even in the spiritual sense. She happens to be one of the world's few African American billionaires, with an estimated salary of $385 million.

The Oprah Winfrey show started in the year 1986 and is now currently known to be the longest-running talk show in America. Oprah has featured not just actors, politicians and other celebrities in her program, but also non-celebrity people, to bring to light to certain conditions that need to be given awareness. In the United States, it runs under several CBS and ABC stations.
