wireless are better simply because there is no cord to limit your movement.
if you buy a good wireless mouse you won't run in to problems until it's time to change the mouse for a newer one anyway.
yes wireless mouse will when they grow old risk loosing connections and other things.
but when a cord mouse grow old the cord breaks too and equals to the same problem you need a new mouse when that happens simple as that
