The story is based around Cinderella, while Aurora is not seen often in her own movie. Neither of the characters are well rounded, but we at least see Cinderella get angry. The little mice are also so lovable unlike Aurora's animals which don't talk. Little girls may also be scared of maleficent, while the evil step mother is easier for them to handle.

I chose Cinderella. Many children these days love romance, comedy, mysteries, and many more. I think the story Cinderella contains these things in a unique way compared to Sleeping Beauty. Some children don't even know the story Sleeping Beauty.

Going to the ball, pursuing the prince throughout, riding in a vegetable, rodent slaves, fairy mafiosos, Leonardo DaVinci -- versus living in a stinky overcrowded house full of hipster-bearded midget mutants than cluelessly being slipped a roofie by the queen who for some reason goes goth-chick hunting on her own instead of sending minions, and then having to hang around in a coma waiting on that necrophiliac rapist that hit up Sleeping Beauty already...
