Strong performances is Denzel's middle name He's not just good like Will, he's great! Anyone can tell the difference. Will could never pull off the intensity Denzel delivers to a scene. He is believable in all of his roles. In Ali, I knew that Will was acting like Ali, although it was good, but in Malcolm X, I almost forgot that it wasn't really Malcolm, but Denzel. I felt every moment of that movie because he steps into a character and makes it his own. If I were to see a real life character that Denzel portrayed in person, I would probably say, WOW, they act just like Denzel, forgetting that it was really them and not him.
His ability to internalize and intensify fiction is remarkable!
