Gap of offshoring manufacturing goods cost to China VS producing it in the US is closing. While the Chinese labor is cheaper per hour, but they are not making as many parts as the US worker can make either. US still has invention and technology that it can build on. We can build a whole factory without human to make goods for us, if we wanted to. Just kidding - I don't want to get laid off either. But you know what I mean.

The USA is still the most advanced nation in the world. American tecnology is still sought after by the rest of the world. Although China has nade advancments in the last decade, it is still far behind the USA in the newest technological advancements. In addition, American food exports, and capabilities are still growing year after year. You cannot deny the amount of food America sends overseas. I believe that we need to reign in our govt. a bit, and concentrate on our own manufacturing, and strengten our borders to keep us in front.

USA has the greatest army, and the majority of the top 500 are headquarterd there. so in my opinion they will still lead the world, but i think that China and India will grow in power very much. So we might have multiple leaders. the EU, China, India, Brazil but i still think that US will be at the top. In 50 years i think China will be the superpower.
