Entire range connects countries India, Tibet, Pakistan Chain Nepal and to some extent Afghanistan, hence obviously more population.
nonetheless e.g. In India it connects to 4-5 states which by itself should cover the population of Alps
because the Alps attracts so many tourists than the Himalayas you don't feel the vibe. You feel isolated in the Himalayas hence that's why you can feel the size of these mountains. Their extraordinary no other place than the Himalayas topping it up with the beautiful valleys and the breath taking glaciers and the magus tic lakes. The Alps are in my comfort zone but the Himalayas makes you look at the world differently it's like heaven on earth.

Because the Himalayas has many more villages and towns at the base of the mountain and climbers stay at the base camps over night for rest where as the Alps doesn't have a huge amount of climbers and there are not as many villages/towns.

The Himalayas have been inhabited from time immemorial. There are many tribes who have called the shadows of Himalayas there home. Both sides of the Himalaya have been the cradle for Buddhism, hence a lot of Buddhist culture is to be found along the Himalayas too!
Himalayan mountain there are so many peaks and valleys they are beautiful so many people live there without transport facilities but in Europe population already less even though facilities available or so many people live there.
I think its a bigger range than Alps.Most of its part are in India which is one of the most populated country in the world.

The Himalaya is stretched across 8 countries in Asia with thousands of tribe living for years.No comparison with Himalaya can be drawn in this regard.
