Seems for everyday web surfing and email communication, I see no real difference between 4G and 3G, so I stopped my 4G service on my EVO Shift. Ultimately, it was battery life vs features that did it for me. I use WiFi feature on my phone at home and work, so I never really use even the 3G feature unless I'm out and about.

Half the cost of 4g
it makes since and 4g is just a marketing ploy.
I upgraded to the 4G from the 3G. reason i chose 3 GS is most ordinary people do not have to nultitask or transfer data this fast. I upgraded since I have a business and do need these features. Love th iphones and gave my 3 G to my son and my brother just upgraded to the 3GS which will fit his needs just fine!
In reality thats what you are actually getting.
Unless one is a heavy multi tasking user , 3GS offers all one needs .

Multitasking does it.. In this fast-paced world, it's hard to keep up with having to do things on your device in turns. With this new feature, you can do a lot of things and sort through a lot of features with out having to hide or switch the previous task or tool.. Add the efficiency of data-transfer with lesser bit errors and better cam quality, one would think can there be anything more to beat that? =)
larger packets with less errors
Latest technology, should have all the inherited features of earlier versions. HD is new and going to be part of every one's world. A big Cheers for the tech advantage...:)
