Mick Jagger was born on July 26, 1943. Best known as the singer and front man of English rock group The Rolling Stones, Jagger is also a songwriter, record producer, actor and film producer, and has had successful recordings both solo and with other artists.

Coming from a musical family, Steven Tyler displayed interested in music as a young boy. His father was, in fact, a music teacher at Cardinal Spellman High School, and Tyler developed an interest in blues music in the 1960s. Starting out as a drummer, Tyler later gravitated to the lead singer role in several bands. It was in Sunapee, New Hampshire where he was spending the summer that he met future Aerosmith band mates Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton.
Mick Jagger and future Rolling Stones band mate Ketih Richards were classmates at Wentworth Primary School in the early 1950s. The two lost touch for a few years after which they reconnected and explored their interest in rhythm and blues music. They moved into a flat together and met another future Stone, Brian Jones.

After Aerosmith went back to being active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Tyler’s career took off and he achieved even wider fame as a performer along with other artists. He has played a number of film and TV roles, and has served as a judge on American Idol. He is included on the Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers list, and continues to perform with Aerosmith.
Mick Jagger is a certified counterculture icon, and he has been called "one of the dominant cultural figures of our time". Jagger was also made a knight on December 12, 2003 for Services to Music. Jagger’s acceptance of the knighthood was seen by many as contradictory to his anti-establishment stance.
