Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is one of the greatest batsmen in world cricket. Dhoni was a goalkeeper in football and it was his coach who advised him to play cricket. Dhoni recently married Sakshi from Kolkata, she is studying hotel management.
Captaincy
Tendulkar played as a captain two times but wasn’t too successful. During his captaincy in 1996, the team performed poorly. During the second period of his captaincy, Tendulkar resigned after his team faced defeat in a test match. This time Sourav Ganguly took over the captaincy in 2000. Dhoni made his debut as a captain in 2008 in Nagpur (during the fourth test match against Australia). He turned out to be a young aggressive captain who knew how to handle his team in different circumstances. Under his captaincy, the Indian Cricket Team occupied first position in the ICC rankings and he made a place for himself as a successful batsman.
