Miley Cyrus is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, an American country singer, song writer and actor. Career
Miley Ray Cyrus started as a child actress and landed roles in blockbusters like Tim Burton’s Big Fish. She auditioned for a role of a secret pop start. Initially, she was thought to be too young for the role, but eventually judges were convinced she was perfect to play Miley Stewart. Hannah Montana series started in 2006, and is currently filming its 4th season. Aside from acting, she has also released several music albums. She is also starring in a movie called ‘The Last Song’, released in the U.S. in March 2010.
Unlike the real character, Hannah Montana is only a performer by night. The Disney channel sit-com was such as huge hit that it was later produced into a movie which was released in 2009. Aside from the movie, Hannah Montana was also recognized for its energetic, teeny-bopper soundtrack. The final season of Hanna Montana on Disney was released in March 2010.

Miley Cyrus has received numerous awards including Winning Song at the BMI Awards, and the Gracey Allen Award for Outstanding Female Lead in a Comedy Series (Hannah Montana). She bagged some more at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, as Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer.
The show Hannah Montana won several awards, most of which went to leading star Miley Cyrus. The show was victorious in the Teens’ Choice Awards, ASCAP Awards for more than two years.
