I believe that the fact that cyborgs have some living parts make them more realistic.
I have seen Cyborgs but haven't yet seen an Android
Because there's a real being (with non-artificial emotions) inside.
Because they are here now, androids not so much.
As humans work hard to improve themselves, it's only natural they'd become cyborgs and have power themselves than rely on another machine like an android .
Because they are already in existence. Some living creatures have been given mechanical parts already.

Technology is becoming further ingrained in everyday life, so why not have technology incorporated into biology as well? We have cochlear implants
