The elemental calcium is more easily absorbed than Ca
Phosphate, which is more tightly bound. There is also less of a risk for kidney stones with Ca Carbonate.

Because I wanted to see what your answer was. I have started taking Vitafusion gummy calcium supplement and The calcium ingredient in the supplement is calcium phosphate. I wanted to compare it to the other two calciums that I am familiar with, to see how well it compare and to see how much I would have to take of the phosphate to get and equal dose of citrate that I used to take...which you don't tell me. By the way..it appears that you are saying that all three answers are excellent choices.

too much calcium cabonate carries a risk, and calcium citrate is also not good in large doses, therefre calcium phosphate as in dairy, is a better soource of calcium
