More gritty and human with almost no support and minimal resources. He uses his instincts and training and very superior weapons ability and fighting skills to accomplish his mission at all costs. There missions and support structure are very different. Jason does not have Q. He improvises in one of the movies series he even utilized a newspaper to fight an individual he encounters in a house in Germany.

Bourne adapts to any situation using what he has around him. Bond however, relies more on his gadgets to get him out of sticky situations
You can only opt one choice. Ian Fleming who authored the Bond stories worked for British intelligence, as did Le Carre' of MI6. It was after Thunderball Bond movies became to gadget filled. Bourne was just a character from Rob't Ludlam his books are far better than the outlandish scenes of the movies.
Le Carre's works are far superior:Geo.Smiley with Alec Guiness, Russia House with Sean Connery, The Spy Who Came in From the Cold with Richard Burton.
