The Hydrogen Bomb works off the principle of nuclear fusion. It is better than the Atomic Bomb for two distinct reasons. 1 The Hydrogen bomb is a much more powerful bomb therefor it takes much less materials to make. 2. The hydrogen bomb is a much cleaner bomb. The Atomic bomb as it was made deteriorated into lead over a long stretch of time, whereas the Hydrogen Bomb Deteriorates far more quickly into Helium making it have far less toxic fallout. While the hydrogen bomb does have an Atomic core the core is mostly incinerated by the initial explosion. Personally if I had the choice I would say I wish neither of these were ever invented. But in retrospect the Atomic Bomb did give us nuclear power. Hopefully we will have fusion power soon (Once we learn how to safely contain and channel such enormous power) it would be much cleaner and leave us less radioactive waste.
