Calculus is more powerful than Statistics. Though Statistics has some features that Calculus lacks, such as linear regression, hypothesis testing, and probability, with Calculus you can do the most advanced science, learn higher level math, and solve complicated engineering, economics, etc. problems. With Statistics, most of the applications are limited to politics/sociology and psychology/medicine. Once you have taken Calculus first, Statistics will literally be a piece of cake. (Except getting the df part right in Hypothesis testing...)

It is the branch into the sciences. It comprises portions of statistics. Statistics may be how to translate and find systems of data, but calculus offers a definitive way to calculate the system of numbers you are dealing with. It can relate to almost any type of major science and is used with most major scientific application. Sure, a course regarding statistics can teach you to manipulate numbers and to find meaning among them, but a calculus class offers much more, delving into the methods to compute the most complex of problems and to find a simple solution to those problem rather than fumbling around with numbers and probability.
statistics is based on probability...calculus is more exact
Calculus is more realistic than Statistics. In Statistics, you always account for variable changes so the outcome of your hypothesis might not be what you expect it to be. Besides that, Calculus gets 'straight to the point'.
easier
More interesting, makes more sence
more exciting, stats is boring
its where statisticians get their data
Calculus is more factual and Statistics is more of dependent on theory.
