My commitment is linked to working towards completing my BS degree. It's online so I move at my own pace and towards the middle of this year I slowed down. No more. I wanted this, I waited 20 years to go back to you and I need to go into 2017 with my commitments in line with my goal.
In making commitment to my self gives me more stability and accountability to achieve what I want to achieve, its giving me the direction I want to go in.
With out a plan of actions, we do not move forward. It seems to me that a resolution is in the 'TRY' stage, where a commitment is in the 'KNOWING' stage. Goals with out an action plan don't usually work!
I feel that making an actual plan to achieve a goal is like a following a map to get to a location rather then knowing where you want to go but only jumping in the car and just start driving. You may get there if you just jump in the car and drive or you may just quit before you get there because you did not get thier quick enough
