There's the option of the number of guests, whereas Priceline only books for 2 guests. We are a family of 4 (two small kids) and travel home alot to Louisiana from Texas. It was horrible checking in at 2AM with two small kids trying to beg the clerk for a non-smoking room with 2 beds (with Priceline, we were booked with a 1 King room). Called Priceline Rep to help us, but they are a 3rd party and under contract. From now on, we'll play it safe and spend the extra $3 (price difference between Priceline and Hotwire) to ensure we get a room that can accomodate 4 guests.
