Letterman is not funny and is only impressed with himself

Jay is more appealing to his audience. He jokes are funnier, and he is more approachable to his guests. Relates to them easier. He has less scandal towards his name, or brings to his family or job.

he might not be the wittiest but certainly knows what he is doing...letterman doesn't care enough

Jay Leno in general is great with guest, as David Letterman has been down right meen to his guest an d full of himself. Don't understand why are so loyal to Letterman.

I've just always liked Letterman's dty sense of humour. I find Leno boring & fake.

David letterman engages his guests on a deeper level than Jay Leno.

Jay is all artificial. Wether or not you like Dave, you know that you're getting an authentic human being when you watch him, but Jay puts on a very false act. Plus, Leno isn't nearly as entertaining or funny to watch.

Dave is naturally very funny. Jay not so much. the only funny parts of Jay's show are things that don't have anything to do with him like headlines and Jaywalking.
