C# is faster (desktop apps) and even when u can not use C# for Linux I like it more. Logic is almost the same, but there are a few differents that make c# better for me. I think that Microsoft learned a lot from mistakes of Sun and that makes it more advanced.

Duh, obviously c#. I was a GUI programmer moved to c# couple of years ago.

There are more high paid c# GUI jobs than java GUI jobs.

Financial industry in NY uses C# GUI and Jave/C++ on the server side.
