Difference between Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra
Everyone is crazy about Bollywood actresses these days. They not only look glamorous but also have excellent acting skills. Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai both have made a name for themselves all over the world due to their ethereal beauties and histrionics. Aiahwarya Rai was born in Mangalore whereas Priyanaka hails from Jameshedpur in Jharkhand. Aishwarya started her modeling career in the 9th standard grade when she modeled for Camlin whereas Priyanka started her modeling career at a much younger age.

Aishwarya Rai didn't start her acting career in Hindi films. Rather she debuted in a Tamil movie named “Iruvar” which was directed by Mani Ratnam. She also didn't embark on her Bollywood career immediately after winning the Miss World Title in 1994. Rather she signed her first movie after 3 years whereas Priyanka Chopra only took a 2 year gap between her acting career and Miss World title. Priyanka Chopra won the Miss World title in 2000 and unlike Aish, immediately started her acting career with a Tamil movie Thamizhan in 2002.

Aishwarya Rai has not won a national award for acting so far. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra has won this acclaimed award in 2008 for the movie “Fashion”. Aishwarya Rai has gained international recognition for her acting skills. She acted in English movies like “The Last Legion” and “The Pink Panther 2” with Steve Martin. Priyanka Chopra is yet to taste the international waters.
Age
There is also a significant age gap between the two actresses. Priyanka Chopra was born on 18th July, 1982 whereas Mrs Aishwarya Bachchan is 9 years her senior with her date of birth as 1st November, 1973. Aishwarya Rai knows many languages while the same is not the case with Priyanka. Aish can easily talk in Tulu, Tamil and Marathi. Aishwarya wanted to become an architect but left her school career to follow her modeling career.
International Fame
Aishwarya Rai has become an internationally known name for her beauty. She has made several appearances at the Cannes film festival as a jury member which started in 2003 when she first went there for her movie “Devdas”.
Priyanka has not attained any such international recognition. She has also been called one of the most beautiful woman in the world by people like Julia Roberts. She has also a wax statue made after her in the London’s Madame Tussaud's wax museum.
