Hemorrhoids seem to be like blisters and are always raw. Where as the polyp that I have seems to hurt when it is inflamed and pressing out on my skin, but the pain is far less over all.

Because it is abnormal. They are pre-cancerous signs and do not have a healthy basis for their existence. The Hemorrhoids have a purpose if not swollen.
