much easier user interface than punchbowl. everything is in one page (at least in the old evite) vs punchbowl that you have to click 6 pages to see all contents.

I like the actual invitations, more conducive to planning any social event.

I hate all the scrolling and clicking ,next page **** on Punchbowl. Evite may be cluttered with ads but it's all on one page. Info guest list etc.

I'll take flexible user-friendly options (read: substance) over style (Punchbowl) any day. Ads are like white noise to me. My eyes simply don't transmit the messages to my brain.

i wanted to throw a "Frozen" theme party for my daugher's bday. Evite had just one "free" display theme while Punchbowl has several. It was a no brainer to pick Punchbowl over Evite.

You get to send an invitation but what what really adds value is the party planner assistance. Which is very helpful and user friendly!

Much cleaner and more 'modern' than the decade old looking evite!

When I receive an Evite invitation I feel as if I am responding to everyone on the guest list, where as Punchbowl feel less intimidating.

Cleaner, classier, and I like to customize my invites like paper versions. More control on design. And with all the event planning I do, it is worth the premium membership to do away with all advertising all together.

Some of the detriments listed in the article are either incorrect of have been fixed. I have used Punchbowl several times and find it very intuitive. Was considering giving Evite a try for my next event, but will probably stick with Punchbowl after reading this article.
