what I have tried
I like the variety of choice music from there selections, plus I can use it from car to portable music box.
Note: If I buy a car that uses Pandora only. Id have to reinstall XM or pay duel fees Panda and XM. Why should I?
Panda should not be a propriatory option only when in cars. Let the buyer choose. Dosent it seem rediculus to voide a car model based on this item?
I do not own an iphone and dont need to buy one.

Pandora has musicality with more warmth and an overall better feel. Very pleasant to listen to.
I have a brand new Subaru Imprezza that came with a limited 4 month or maybe 5 month membership. The car also comes with Pandora on the Navigation system screen if I load the APP onto my phone, which I did. Even though I have a somewhat annoying hearing problem I listen to jazz quite a bit. After trying out the same type of music on both services, I was blown away by the difference in quality between the two. First, the human voice is SOOOO much clearer on Pandora regardless of the song being played. Secondly, instrumentals or also much, much more clear and consequently more enjoyable to listen to. Presently using just the free app of Pandora but may go to paid version in the future. Don't really know. Not the much into sports and definitely don't listen to the pervert Howard Stern so those aren't even CLOSE to being a draw for me. When Sirius goes away, it won't bother me a bit.
It is free and has better choice selection with few advertising. You can design the type of music through artist name and similarity better than these two.
BETTER MUSIC
I have a choice whether to pay for service or allow commercials. I can program music to my taste rather than be forced to select from a certain genre.
Because a few months ago, Sirius changed there programming on Channel 71 Siriously Sinatra. And now they got singers I Never heard of before , and they are now playing Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, and Sinatra when he First started recording,. They are putting on the Bottom of the Music barrel. When My Paid subscription ends, So does my Use of Sirius
Pandora One has Better audio quality, more dynamic, less compressed. Pandora One subscription rate is cheaper and free Internet radio offers everything else you need especially for home audio needs. After all who wants to point an antenna to get the optimum signal? I'll take a direct internet connection thank you.

XM prices have gotten too high and they don't offer the diverse music selection that Pandora does. XM plays the same few artists over and over and over.
Starting to put in cars now and great for knowing what you like so in long run will be able to not skip or switch station has much has do with both of the others has still radio just with way better station choices. Sense regular radio our parents listened to has kids. Plus can custom station to preference and choice until have a station that love with lots of songs playing and less skipping so can use in car.

Sirius sound quality is awful. To much compressioon I suppose.
sirus and xm are too difficult to navigate. Broad selection, but Music on Pandora is seamlessly integrated into their product. Also, siriusXM support is 'weak' - where is the Tablet support. Pandora works on all platforms.
