I am an IBO who just became an "unfranchise" owner and the atmosphere is greatly different. Amway has truly put an unwarranted stress in my life as they are very pressuring and do make threats that they will be unable to help you if you don't attend everything. There IBO's have also made promises to be there to help and then after a month are nowhere to be found and its a struggle. It's been said through research that finding 6 people to get into business with is an unreasonable number and it is. I spent more money trying to keep up than I would have ever made in Amway. Market America may have a similar business model but I feel it was designed to eliminate the absolute failure that is inevitable.

Because Market America is product brokerage company meaning they don't manufacture their exclusive products. They look for the best manufactures with unique products that fits customers needs. As oppose a AMWAY products, they do manufacture their products so worst case lets just say if there is another product out there that's in highly demand and it's trending in the social media, basically AMWAY will loose, bottom line. Now Market America, a product brokerage company, they look can release any of their exclusive products if something out there is currently hot and selling. Market America don't pressure in selling but listen and help when it's needed which creates loyalty and trust.

it's a multi-level marketing and it's based on recruiting rather than selling distributions. market america is a group sales synergies and paying customers cash back and referral rewards.

Amway has been around fOr over 50 years. It has made more millionaires than any other company. It's a 10+billion dollar company. Market America? Who is that? What a complete joke. These types of rinki dinkie companies come & go. They'll be out of business soon.

Market America? Who? I have never even heard of this company. What a joke. Since 1992? Really? And where are the millionaires it has created? Ha ha ha!! It's a complete "wanna be" Amway.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Because its a scam
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Because it is still rather new in my area, the few that partake in it are really brainwashed and talking to them has now become like talkin.g to robots. Market America has a language and culture of its own, frequently leaving the unfranchise "owner" living a life so focused on the future, that they forget about the beauty of the day to day present time.events. I have seen just as.much, if.not.more peer.pressure tactics as well.
