I have been using it for over 40 years and it's never failed me. People complain about their skin using others, but I am always told how young my skin is for being 60.
Dove has ingredients in it's different formulations that have antioxidants (Pomegranate body wash in spring time), Shea Butter, soothing Cucumber and Plum. I find it to rinse better. It doesn't leave a tight feeling on my skin. For a while Softsoap made a bar soap here in the U.S. I used the Orange fruit version and the Coconut Scrubbing version and found them to not rinse well and to make my skin sort of tight and under moisturized. I like the Softsoap hand soap in the pump bottle with Aloe Vera, however, and I like the Softsoap Kitchen Hands version that smells of lemons.
