Chapstick all the way.

I agree with the last statement. I also like both. I can get favor's in Blistex that I cant get in Chapstick but I also can get favor's in Chapstick that I can't get in Blistex. I like to change my lip balm from time to time. I also think why people stick with a certain brand is because you grow up using that type of brand.

I like them both. Blistex has been used on my mothers side of the family for many many years. Chapstick has been used on my dads side for many many years. Just this month I have been using Chapstick just to change it. Some flavors I can get in Blistex and not Chapstick and vice versa. I think it's what you like and how much you want to spend on lip balm.

Chapstick lasts long and is very moisturizing while Blistex is too creamy and doesn't last very long.

Keeps lips moisturized longer, doesn’t leave a paste feeling like chapstick, and works faster and more effectively when lips are chapped.

I love the tubes of Blistex! It seems to actually sink in to my lips completely and quickly rather than simply coating them in what feels like a thick layer of wax!
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
its not drying
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Blistex keeps your lips moisturized, while chapstick only moisturizes for a while before drying them out again.

Chapstick feels like straight wax. Blistex seems to not only keep the dryness away but it also soothes already irritated lips.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Been using Blistex for years. Like the smooth consistency. Chapstick is to waxy.

The best lip balm I even had was Blistex Lip Medex in a tub. I loved it. It work wonders on my lips, it was easy to put on, it did not color clash with anything else I was wearing. And; my favorite part; it was tasteless! So I was not afraid to lick my lips which is a natural thing to do when your lips are chapped!!!! Before with every other lip balm I had left a very bad after taste in my mouth. I loved that little tub of Blistex.

It has it's ups and downs. I think blistex is my preferred brand because it seems to feel more moisturizing than Chapstick, therefore I prefer it. However, I suspect Chapstick may work better for me because of it's more waxy feelig (in my opinion).

Blistex moistens lips as well as protecting them. I used Chapstick for a long time, but have been using Blistex for the last several years. I only wish the Silk & Shine, which is my favorite came in a red flavor shine as well
