My colds leads to sinus infections, if not drained quickly. Mucus accumulates and bacteria infection begins to develop and grow. Antibiotics, pain medication, anti-nausea tablets, and rest will do the job. Sinus infections can last from 2 weeks to a month with me. Past 2 years, only had 1 infection, due to immediate sinus drainage, liquids, and rest.

Because I use to get colds then around 19 I developed what i thought was a really bad cold with more than my usual amounts of migraines an went in because it was not clearing up, an come to find out it was a Sinus infection an was sever they gave me Loratadine and Flonase and come to find out I was allergic to both meds, and now for the most parts I know when its a sinus infection, b/c last time I went in they told me I had a sinus infection an I could have had several short ones without knowing and as I write this I feel like I have one I can really only take amoxicillian for them. etc.
