sony is using backlit techonlogy in their hx9000 series, however, hx8000 series is edge lit..

I have been shuttling to the show rroms of Sony & Samsung for last one week... just to find out that who is better in 3D.I could not make out much of the difference between the 2, but Sony stands slight better as its pictur quality is more soothing to the eyes.

I have my own sony 3d tv and i feel good when wathcing it, sony was leader always as i heard it. I have seen samsung 3d tv in malls and i have tried it. And finally sony is my choice

Having tried between the two, Sony was way better also due to the fact that it's much more comfortable with 3d glasses.
3D glasses are a lot more comfortable than the glasses that came with samsung
Samsung is not a real brand, it is a quality knock-off Sony brand. Plus Sony has years of professional 3D experience, Samsung has 0.
Samsung sucks, their 3D TV will break in 3 years MAX. Sony on the other hand lasts for well over 2 decades.
