Always use them
Company recently switched to hertz and so far it has been nothing but nightmares, misery and pain. Ive been told that the car i was scheduled to have has already been rented which took over an hour to get into a new car. Ive had to wait on hold in kiosks for annoyingly long amounts of time. With avis, show up, get in and go, simple and easy.

I have always had excellent service and cars with Avis compared to other companies, and they are my first choice when renting.

I've been a long-time Avis customer. I tried Hertz for a couple rentals from LAX. Hertz has higher prices, less courteous staff, and the service was not as good.
