I am not really taking into account "this" economy, but simply believe from soul and observation that slow and steady wins the race. The economy needs diversity. I believe the trend of publicly owned business' has created a society that do not care about the product or service rendered due to being a 'stockholder' and not an 'owner'. Quality goes down and inflation keeps going up. As a privately-owned company can control these, I believe private is the way to bring back under control the some of the economic pitfalls we have seen.
