enterprise is all about money
We have used them in our collision repair facility after trying hertz and enterprise it was obvious that hertz cared more about us and our customers than enterprise did. This includes enterprise being late to multiple appointments and sometimes forgetting to even setup our appointments. Hertz is top notch and our 20 customer a month we put in their cars never have problems.

Always have a car available.......Enterprise has dropped the ball everytime I've ever booked a vehicle through their company. From not having a vehicle at all when I arrived to getting a car that should have been pulled from their rental fleet 5 years ago. For this Hertz will always get my business and recommendations!
The service is very good. As you have said the car was ready for me in less than 5 minutes, and the people that I talk to are always very nice , I have heard similar things from Statefarm, one of my friends works there and talks to a man named Scott Bridges , and says he is very nice.
never had a problem renting from hertz. every car i have rented from hertz has been clean and they get me in and out everytime with great customer service
Enterprise has terrible service. Quotes one thing on the phone, then you show up and they won't honor the quote. Takes forever to get out of the place. Hertz is much faster and more professional.

I fly in an out of airports at least one time per month and Hertz is always friendly and the car clean. The two rental's I had from Enterprise the car was dirty and the people were not friendly at all.
fast service. price match to other companies. friendly staff . over staffed ( which is really good because they all trip over them selves to get to you ) only down fall is that all of enterprises mini-vans are better luxurious vans ( i.e Town & country Limited ) while hertz uses base model mini vans ( i.e Grand caravan AVP)

I rented from both, and based on my experience Hertz has better customer service, the people at Enterprise don't seem to care very much.

Last time I rented with enterprise I got ding for miles when it supposed to be unlimited. The gentleman who helped me said Only if I stay within bordering States. Well he didn't mention it, so a 179 rental became a 879 rental!!! ****!

I had to go back to Enterprise 3 times to try to rent a car. Each time before I came in I asked the clerk for a list of the things they required to rent the car. Each time when I went in I was told that I did not have the proper papers or some other deficit that precluded me from renting a car. I was in a very precarious position in that I live several miles from town and I had no way to go anywhere without a vehicle.
On the other hand, Hertz made the rental almost effortless. And they were upbeat and very customer friendly as opposed to the Enterprise employees who seemed to make it their personal mission to keep me from renting a car.
I've rented/bought from both. Hertz seems to be easier.

enterprise is petty for a tiny scratch i was charged an obscene amount of money for a scratch smaller than my pinky finger. So I requested proof that the car was even repaired. I was given several black and white photos and an estimate that was all.
