A lot more events, plus I enjoy watching summer olympic events more so than winter ones. Track and field, swimming, basketball...Are all more exciting to me. Plus there's more direct competition, with athletes competing against each other side by side. Whereas in the winter games, it's more about judges deciding who's the best figure skater, or who can ski down a hill a tenth of a second faster than someone else. You don't compete directly side by side like you see in track and field or swimming, and this makes the winter games less interesting to watch in my opinion. (Obviously there are some winter games like hockey and cross country skiing, but I don't find these sports to be that interesting to watch either) Short track speed skating is really the only event I enjoy watching. After watching a couple ski jumps or luge runs you're already bored and ready for something else.

I love track & field. I also get the opportunity to see my fellow countrymen & women participate. We hail from a very warm country, The Bahamas, so the winter games would not be my first option. Good luck to all in London 2012 and a special shout out to Team Bahamas!!!!
