Flexible...key word..todays 'mobile' younger society will not be locked into one place. Timeshares will go the way of "private golf courses" where you have to join and pay tons of money to play in 'one' place.
Vacation Club Membership do not lock you into one unit, one specific time annually.
Usually Vacation Club provides wider range of options as far as accomodation
Vacation Club provides flexibilty on amount of time one is required to stay at a chosen resort
Vacation Clubs are better than timeshares because you don't have to pay maintenance plus you monetize when you join by exposing vacation clubs to others
No restrictions
Seems like fewer restrictions and the ability to go to different places
it's cheaper, you have all the advantages of timeshare ownership, some vacation allow you not to pay the membership fee for the year you are not using it.

although it indicates it is for large families, as a single gal, it sounds like less headache financially.

The flexability in choices. not really concerned for a definite or specific time in year, although you must plan ahead. don`t really want to make a bad investment
