Flexible...key word..todays 'mobile' younger society will not be locked into one place. Timeshares will go the way of "private golf courses" where you have to join and pay tons of money to play in 'one' place.

Vacation Club Membership do not lock you into one unit, one specific time annually.
Usually Vacation Club provides wider range of options as far as accomodation
Vacation Club provides flexibilty on amount of time one is required to stay at a chosen resort
