They always contact the parent when there is problems or something happening at school
Because most of the parents know each other because of the same belief system where the "real world" parents are usually hesitant to talk to other parents.
I work in a public school. Far too many parents are uninvolved and uncaring about their kids. I’ve had parents ignore repeated calls, emails, letters, etc home for very serious problems and if they ever respond refuse to lift a finger to address the child refusing to do any work, assaulting other children, bringing drugs into school etc. Districts also often refuse to do much because of all the PC culture and red tape. Private schools have much more freedom to set and enforce real academic and behavioral standards. Any student who fails or refuses to comply is subject to actual consequences including possible expulsion. Private schools treat quality education as important, but also a privilege that is earned by putting in the work to reach your goals. Public school is too often treated as some kind of free day care and many kids who want to learn are held back by troublemakers who don’t care.

because that's the way it is
Parents are usually more involved and have a higher expectation from the school.
catholic schools tend to in force parent involvement, if not here is a price for the parents which would be with money charges.
From experience and observation.
because I've experience it.
Parents have a closer relationship due to religious activities they belong to outside simply school activities.
I go to a Catholic school.
The parents of Catholic School students are [usually] more involved with the school (if the parents also DO attend Church), more so than public school counterparts, but this is not to say that parents of children in public school do not also participate on a more personal, participating manner.
Because parents realize cathoic education is the best option .public schools have huge disciplinary problems .catholic schools dont put up with troublemakers.they are expelled. I want my children to associate with other well behaved friends who can b friends for life and who live by a higher level of morals and values than what public education offers.
mm
Better parent-teacher communications.
More involvement in the total education of the student by the parent
have opportunity of know the notoriety of them and they all share the same values and moral.
I have been a teacher for all grades including College and i have taught 50 different schools all private. I have won Many naep Awards ,so from experience thus makes a private/catholic school better
even though public school may bring more diversity in backgrounds and culture, Catholic school offers more of a community based atmosphere allowing freer displays of communication and understanding between teachers, parents and children. All on same page.
The kids are way way more behaved.
The teachers are there because they care. If they did not care, they would be teaching in public school. The faculty knows your child. You are a name and not a number. Parents are recognized when they enter the building. Communication is above that of public schools.
I grew up in a Catholic school and moral values were the essence of the teachings which it is something you do not get in public schools.
Since parents pay for their students education they tend to get more involved in their children's education
Smaller class size and few students makes it easier to get to know the parents.
I would think because a parent of a catholic student is making a financial investment with their child.
It should be known that Catholic schools are typically associated with a parish. That said families that belong to that parish are often active members in it, and have children enrolled at the parish school. Additionally, one (but more rarely both) of the parents may even work at the school. These circumstances often create more actual relationships between Catholic parents and the school than parents and public school faculty and staff. Additionally the Catholic parent/school relationships are based on a sacramental, spiritual and well established faith and culture. Because the parents and school share in the faith, beliefs and values, they often have better quality relationships with each other.
cuz
Because
Catholic schools usually expect the parent's involvement in extra-school activities; thus sometimes this parent-school involvement will help lower the initial tuition cost by a few hundred dollars.
Because I attended both catholic and public schools and the parents were defintely more involved with everything at the catholic school than they were at the public school. They wanted to know more about what was going on, they participated in all activities, and they paid attention to their children more.
Due to the social economic status of most families of private school. Parents are able to attend more school events and usually one parent is able to be a stay at home parent or work part time so they can participate at school. My kids go to private and most of the moms do t work.
you pay
Because class sizes are smaller in comparison to public school, the relationship between parent and teacher has a better opportunity to grow. In Catholic school, you are encouraged to discuss concerns with the staff with the expectation of resolve. Parents also support their catholic school much more so than public schools. Fundraising activities are a part of providing quality education to the students and as such the are much more engaged and invested in the school.
I feel that they know me and my child on a personal level and understand us better.
catholic schools have much higher graduation rates than public schools.
100% parental involvement
Smaller schools are better able to listen to parents and address their concerns.
Because there are less students, means less parents to get to know. You get to know the parents on a more personal level and then parents want to be more involved.
catholic schools emphasize on honesty and being honest with onself and others, especially parents
because cathlic strengthens the personality of all students who attend
i go to a public school and you are more open to your parents and you talk to them about your relgion because it is verey intresting
less adultery in cath skewls
