Tom is just a more dynamic and diverse actor. He is good in everything, even in movies that aren't that great. His performance always stands out. From being a family man, a cop, a secret agent, in comedy, science fiction no matter what, he convinces you that he is that person. Brad's earlier roles were like that, Kaliforna, Too young to die, and Seven. But once Brad got with Angie he has lost his sparkle. He has become arrogant and doesn't put his heart and soul into his roles anymore. He just goes through the motion. It's like he doesn't enjoy what he is doing anymore.
To use his own words,"It's like, how do you explain how chocolate ice cream tastes?" I just like the way he looks. Like he has all the right stuff in the right places. Also at 51 Tom is looking at least 10 years younger than Brad Pitt. Tom does his own stunts and is still a leading action man.

He was in inglorious ****, oceans 11 and 13, and a few more that were good, but he is in some aweful movies and cannot compete with cruise both in reputation,and # and quality of movies he's in, and cruises acting is superior. Cruise is in: top gun, M.I. 1 and 3, The last Samurai, Colateral, War of the Worlds, Minority Report, Rain Man, and many, many more amazing films.
