Dravidians are not a race but simply people living in the southern part of the country- a country that was once known as Aryavrat. Dravidians are 100% Aryans. This was a stupid construct brought into existence by the Britishers and foolishly adopted by most Indians. There are short and dark skinned Indians in most parts of the country- Bengal, Bihar, Orrisa and several other parts of the country where people are exposed to the scorching sun- NOT JUST South India, which obviously is a lot warmer. A lot of stupid North Indians may delude themselves into believing that they belong to some 'superior' race, although a vast majority of the wanna-be whites are brown-skinned- UP,Rajasthan,MadhyaPradesh etc...And a lot of stupid South Indians accept they belong to different race, because of this propaganda and sometimes out of resentment for obvious reasons. I rest my case.
