In Hawaii, there were houses with signs in their front yards that effectively said "go home, whitey". Nothing like that in the Caribbean.

I've been to Riviera Maya and playa Del Carmen, the culture is so diverse and people are so friendly and generous! Each theme park resort provide you with lots of hospitality and food to enjoy if you're away from your hotel. I'm sure you, the writer, have not been to the friendly and diverse side of the Caribbean. Based on your written article, you're probably an American citizen and is only biased about the different culture outside of the United States. Just saying. Get your facts and outlook straight before comparing both world.
