I like 3D to pop out of the screen. And it doesn't do that as much or ever with Real 3D.
I watched many movies at my theater in Real D 3D and not really impressed while my few experiences with Imax 3D were so much better.
it's way more fun & movies are watchable over and over again just to see it.
3D is still a developing technology. Long way to go until it equals the brightness and depth of 2D movies. Disappointed in the viewing experience. Blacks look like dark gray. Colors are muddy. Cut down my theater trips by 80% a year. Not nearly the adventure it was. Does not matter what 3D format. The brightness and contrast is medicore compared to the 2D viewing. 3D is still a gimmick to try and increase the ticket prices. In the end it is not the experience I will spend money for. The visual image of 3D is lacking. Not where I will spend my disposable income.
It feels like you are in the movie set; so real!
I like to see the image coming at me. The other format is usually unecessary.

I-max 3D looks like virtual world surrounded all over the theatre & its price is little bit costlier than Real 3D but its worth it

I've viewed both versions and I feel IMAX 3D just does that it does better. It is amazing!

Although you must keep your head in a particular position, the visual rewards are more realistic and lifelike than Real 3D. It provides a deeper sense of immersion into the film.
I have no ideas on how to comprehend all the jargon above but when I watch both but I find IMAX 3D to be much more awesome.
Sounds cooler.
Well, Imax 3-D is actually, you know, very 3-D, and better quality, bigger screens!
