I bought Unisom because Sominex was not available and it actually kept me up half the night. I felt like I had taken a stimulant instead of a sleep aid. Not sure why, but am tossing and getting more Sominex.

I am sensitive to most drugs, prescription or otc. Sominex is the only sleep aid that does not make me feeled drugged then leaving me hung over the following day. It really does let me fall asleep naturally, feeling rested and refreshed in the morning (I know, I know, I sound like the commercials from years ago). I hart's been hard to find in local stores now, and when I recently needed a sleep aid,I had to purchase Unisom "THE #1 DOCTOR RECOMMENDED" sleep aid. I only used it once...the hung over feeling lasted for 2 days. I decided to check on-line and am relieved that it has not been discontinued.
