Personally, Excedrin works night and day better for me than Ibuprofin (Advil)or Aspirin (Tylenol) does.
Excedrin is an over the counter medication that combines acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine.
•Advantages: The main advantage of Excedrin is that it also combines three drugs for headache relief. Aspirin is added to the acetaminophen and caffeine as an additional pain reliever. Excedrin does not contain butalbital, which means it may be less addictive and cause less negative drug interactions than Fioricet. Finally, a prescription is not needed for Excedrin.
•Disadvantages: Because of the aspirin in Excedrin, pregnant women should not take it. Alcohol use should be avoided due to the danger of stomach bleeding from the aspirin and damage to the liver due to the acetaminophen. The caffeine in Excedrin can cause also insomnia.

i have been having series of migraines for past few weeks. excedrine migraine works almost everytime within 15-20 mins with one tablet, rarely depending on severity of pain will i need to take another. tried tylenol before never seems to work for me, so recently had a migraine only thing available at hand was an extra strength tyenol, didnt do a thing, didnt even bother to take another, jus went and got the excedrine migraine, pain gone. I wont say tylenol doesnt work, just not for me....
I think the caffeine element helps better than the tylenol.

excedrin works within 10 minutes and tylenol works after taking several doses. Plus its hard on your stomach. I never have any problems after taking excedrin.

I have tried Tylenol many times and always end up going back to the store and in the mean time having to wait 4 hours before I can take the excedrin. It seems to target my headache much more so than tylenol on the other hand my children I give them tylenol.
Excedrin takes the pain of a migraine away far more faster than ANY product that over-the-counter and some prescriptions. With Tylenol, you have to take a lot of them before you get even the slightest bit of relief.

Just wanted to make comparison, since most hospitals recommend Tylenol for healing. I have used Excedrin, as that product fits me the best. Wondering why more hospitals don't recommend an option between Tylenol and Excedrin.

Excedrin Mirgaine usually helps ease off the beginnings of a headache, however Tylenol is like popping a "Tic-Tac" to me....does very little to ease my pain.

Three different medicines
Excedrin not only takes away headaches, it also takes most of my pain away from osteoarthritis and other pains. Excedrin was off the market for 2 years and I tried everything under the sun and nothing worked. Everyone should be aware that all drugs work differently on different people. But my choice will forever be Excedrin since you might have saved my life from horrendous pain. And I tell all my friends about it too.
