Vietnamese uses alphabetical of latin. It has ton marks when sound goes up, down, short, long, heavy and light. It is easy to learn writing and reading. It is single work been read. Whereas Chinese has complicated written and read.

Just listen to it specially the northern accent sounds so pleasant to the ears. I'd rank Vietnamese ->Japanese -> Chinese
