1. Please check the Investment details before saying that Gujart is ahead than Maharashtra. Guajrat is ahead only in case of Proposed Investments however, if we check the actual investments taken place, Maharashtra is far ahead than Gujarat. In FY 2011, Maharatra attactred FDI of Rs. 27669 Crore while Gujarat attracted just Rs. 3620 Crore.
2. Maharashtra has quality labour which is not the case with Gujarat. Please look at the example of General Motors, it has moved to Pune from Gujarat.
