My selection lies with what I watch most. I watch Chopped,TOP CHEF,IRON CHEF and like Robert Irvine and Nadia G. I like Gail Simmons the best though.Amanda Frietag is a great judge as well as hot.Scott and Ted are great too! I think Mark McEwan is underrated. He happens to be my favourite chef! Robert Irvine is really great too! Nadia G. is great, and Canadian to boot! Well these are my favourites, from Windsor, Ontario,Canada. MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR eh? The Cooking Channel has Extra Virgin, Man Fire Food and My Grandmother's Ravioli on it. The Food channel does not. The Cooking channel seems to have more of a variety of different cultures. I wish the Food channel had more cultures. I like them both. But I think the Cooking channel is more entertaining. I can not afford the dish package with the Cooking channel and will have to down size. Therefore I will have to give up the Cooking channel, which is the one I really like. Maybe one day I will get it back.

I watch cooking shows solely for the recipe and cooking techniques I can use in my own kitchen. My favorite show on The Cooking Channel is "Spice Goddess" because I love Indian food. I would be very happy if The Cooking Channel would also have a show dedicated to vegetarian or vegan cooking.
