The chicken's taste is simply better, I find KFC to be far too much flavor to have in one go (saltiness) and the texture of the skin isn't very desirable. Popeyes, on the other hand, delivers a balanced flavor AND a good texture in both the meat and skin.

I find Popeyes chicken to have a much nicer, juicier flavor. Not to mention the crust, which is nice and crispy, unlike KFC’s.
Popeye's seems to have more spices added to the chicken, and the crunch makes it even better.
I have selected this option because Popeye's has more juicy chicken. KFC is more heavy on seasoning. I enjoy that but I think Popeye's wins.

Popeyes uses less oil in my opinion. I like the spices I taste and the crunch i hear when I bite into their chicken. I prefer their fries over KFC wedges. KFC uses too much oil in their chicken and wedges which makes it taste greasy and soggy. Buscuit wise, KFC all the way. Popeyes biscuits are a bit harder and leave a weird rubbery feeling in your mouth.

The spicy chicken overall has better flavor! But you also get a better deal at popeyes due to the nice sides they have! I think KFC is TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get!
