I believe in my country and the Japanese are operating dishonestly, toyota plastering their name everywhere and ducking out on import taxes in all category's by having their factory's over here and know for lying about recalls and defects on their cars. Also they may employ Americans but for what they make by higher price and parts what they pay their American counterparts and the money is discusting. Also lying to people that their cars are better, but if you see car magazines American cars regularly last whey over 300,000 miles.

Japanese cars suck for a lot of reasons. Mainly because they got no balls. There are some cool Japanese cars like the Toyota supra, Mazda rx7, Nissan skyline, Lexus lfa, Nissan gtr and the old datsuns and many more that we're not famous and very rare. But the main reason why I don't like Japanese cars is because they just don't have anything american cars have. American cars have a deep v8 rumble and are extremely loud which is awesome. American v8s are also very powerful. The 1970 chevelle 454 ls6 had 450hp in its 454ci v8. Recently american cars went downhill but there's still some good American cars. And the people who drive Japanese cars are punk **** kids on their parents budget who think there cool attaching bleacher seats as a poor escuse for a rear wing. Then again I'm 14 so all the old men who read this **** think I don't know what I'm talking abou but the old men who say this are usually people who have no dream or personality who work at a typical job and want no fame or recognition and never want to be creative or interesting or do something in life. I have gotten off topic but that's because all I expect to hear is "your 14 and you know nothin" but I'm tellin you I'm already trying to get in a career and make millions even if it means not listening to old people. Well I got off topic but in conclusion american cars are better in everything except fule economy but if you live the dream and can afford to stop for gas every hour then your good to own an American classic with 0% plastic included.

Lower maintenance costs, lower insurance costs & providing jobs for fellow Americans.

I prefer Detroit Iron over an Asian import/transplant since American cars have their market share - I have owned a Chevrolet since my parents owned them due to its reliability record. Also, the lowered maintenance $$$ is what I take into consideration first rather than an Asian marque (even though their local content parts usage have improved e.g. local production and just-in-time business practices - id prefer Detroit Iron over the Asian marque)...

I prefer older American
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
more durable, look better, FASTER on average than ANY other countries average.
You don't see a 454 cu in big block v8 that you can take today and make 800hp out of with just a supercharger in an older Japanese car...only in America!

American car have higher technology systems relative to japenese. But japese company have more effective selling strategy to american company especially in 3th class country and firsr class countries. American companies must decide very imporrant tactic to overcome asian and europan automobile manufactures. Really shamefull for america that royota and honda have very nomerous income from USA's car marketing. For comparing you should see the quantity of american car export to japan, korea, germany, france
Really really i am shamed
