Box has more business features. Also it seems a little bit more like a "serious" site as opposed to a "stuendt"
It is more cloud based than Dropbox. You don't have to download and install any software. The interface is also clearer.
4 hrs. allowing access without a password on Dropbox, as per an article on cnet news / security, was the final straw. Too much bad news about this company for me to feel secure.
They gave me 50 free gigs! Also the ability to share folders and edit docs online.

For all things but file sync, box.net is superior
I have used both and although I like dropbox, I prefer the box interface.
No local software needs to be installed. Creating a shared folder for public access is a snap.
For a free account only I rather have 5g than 2g.

Love the comments on individual and also tasks. The fact that BOX lets you share files within shared folders was the decision maker
