Easier to understand for a non French speaking native.
The French from France is also more beautiful and more varied than Canadian French. Too much nasal sounds in Canada and it seems like everyone has the same voice.

Je prefere le francais de la France, c'est plus elegant! (desole pour les accents!)

France French is more refined and sophisticated. I speak French fluently, but find it hard to understand Canadian French. They speak very fast in Quebec, and the accent throws me off. But, French is still a beautiful language with both accents.
