On a woman a set of two or four abs looks **** and feminine without looking manly and over vain. A man looks cool and **** with with a 4 pack, while a really ripped set of six or even the full eight signifies - if not for sporting reasons - a severe level of vanity and "look at me!" Six packs fully sculpted look too overdone unless there's a slight bit of skin and fat over the top. It's like looking at a naked woman (six pack) and then looking at the same naked woman but with a neglige or swimming bakini on ( two or four pack).
